Session at the 19th World Congress of Jewish Studies

The Association for the Philosophy of Judaism will hold a session on “Analyltic Philosophy of Judaism” at the 19th World Congress of Jewish Studies, which will take place at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem on August 4–8, 2025. Our session will be on Thursday, August 7 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Israel time. It will take place in the Humanities building (Hum), room 47218.

  • Israel Cohen (Hebrew University of Jerusalem): פנים חדשות באו לכאן”: ספינת תיזאוס, סנדלו של רבי יוחנן וטבע ההלכה” (“A New Face Came Here”: The Ship of Theseus, Rabbi Yochanan’s Sandal, and the Nature of Halakha) (in Hebrew)
  • Avraham Sommer (Rutgers Univesity): “Degrees of Divine Revelation” (in English).
